Perkins Center for the Arts receives $25,000 grant

Perkins Center for the Arts has been awarded a grant of $25,000 by Holman Automotive Group, Inc. to support operations, arts education programs and facility improvements at Perkins Center for the Arts.

“Such amazing support from Holman Automotive enables us to further our commitment to provide a wide range of creative opportunities for people of all ages and at every level of artistic development, and also reaffirms to us the importance of that commitment to our community,” said Melissa Blanton, President of the Board of Trustees, Perkins Center for the Arts.

The grant will be used to support operational costs, including programming fees, art supplies, technology, utilities expenses, growth of the arts education programming and for facility improvements at both the Perkins Moorestown and Collingswood centers. The gift is critically important, as program and facilities reach over 30,000 people annually, and are in need of repairs and upkeep.

Holman Automotive Group, Inc. is headquartered in Maple Shade and has been a friend and supporter of Perkins Center since the early 90’s.
