Miriam A. Egan, age 79 of Venice, Fla., formerly of Haddonfield, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, in the comfort of the hospice where she stayed. Egan was born on Feb. 7, 1935. She is preceded in death by her son Michael, and is survived by her loving husband, Anthony P. Egan, Jr.
A devoted mother, Egan is survived by her children Miriam, Anthony, Colleen, Maureen, Patrick, Erin, Kelley, Terrance and Tara. Grandchildren Madeleine, Delaney, Isaiah, Justin, William, Aleah, Eleanore, Katie, Oren, Lilly and Fionn also survive Egan.
Miriam was a devoted Catholic, attending Mass daily. She was an avid member of both the vocal and bell-ringing choirs.
A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 28, at the Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, at 10 a.m.
Burial will take place immediately after at the Prayer Garden located at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice.
