Continuing a much-loved tradition in the local community, this year’s Katz JCC Purim Carnival will take place on Sunday, March 16 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The carnival is open to the entire community and will include a wide variety of attractions for all ages. The event is free for children under age 2 and adults, $7 for children who are JCC members and $10 for children who are not JCC members. Families that register by March 12 will receive a free kosher hot dog voucher per child.
This year, the carnival will feature brand new game booths and prizes, strolling entertainers, ActiveZone Challenges for teens, toddler town for our younger guests, festive music, hamantaschen, the Imaginarium, a moon bounce, and much more. Children are encouraged to come in costume and participate in the Purim Parade.
Delicious hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, and assorted beverages, all of which will be kosher, will be available for purchase. Additionally, all attendees are encouraged to please bring a kosher non-perishable food item for the JFCS Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry.
RSVP to Sahar Oz, director of Judaic programming, by Wednesday, March 12 at [email protected]. The event is presented in conjunction with BBYO South Jersey. For more information, please visit www.katzjcc.org.
