Burlington County College’s career services will hold a summer job and internship fair on Tuesday, March 4 to help connect students and employers with meaningful internships that will help shape careers.
“It’s not too early to think summer, and it’s never too early to plan your next career step,” BCC Career Services Director Roseanne Buckley said. “We have many employers lined up ready to provide meaningful opportunities to students who want to learn more about their potential career. There is no substitute for the real-life experience that these internships provide.”
The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4 at the Enterprise Center on the Mount Laurel Campus.
“Internships are a valuable tool to help get your foot in the door for a new career,” said Burlington County Freeholder Director Leah Arter, whose Workforce Development Initiative is relying on the college, county agencies and the private sector to improve training opportunities through the county. “Internships are essential to both growing businesses and individuals and I encourage every employer and job seeker to attend Burlington County College’s Summer Job and Internship Fair.”
Spaces are filling up fast, but there are still openings for organizations looking to hire a summer intern. For more information, or to register for the event, visit http://staff.bcc.edu/careerservices/?pg=jobfair, email [email protected] or call (609) 894–9311, ext. 1034.
