Burlington County Freeholders recognize ‘Healthy Weight Week’

As part of her 2014 initiative for a healthier Burlington County, Freeholder director Leah Arter announced that the Board of Chosen Freeholders will be recognizing Healthy Weight Week from Jan. 19 through Jan. 25.

“Healthy Weight Week celebrates healthy lifestyles that last a lifetime and prevent eating and weight problems,” Arter said. “This annual celebration is a time for all of our residents to live actively, eat well, and feel good.”

In recognition of Healthy Weight Week, daily posts promoting healthy living will be featured on the Burlington County Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BurlingtonCountyNJ.

“We encourage residents of all ages to take a look at our daily health tips on Facebook during this week and take this opportunity to focus on healthy habits that can lead to longer and healthier lives,” said Arter.
