The public is invited to browse around for some bargains during the Friends of the Burlington County Library’s used book sale scheduled for Feb. 6 to Feb. 9 at library headquarters in Westampton.
A wide variety of books will be available in the library’s meeting room, including fiction and nonfiction for children and adults, as well as books on tape, CDs and DVDs. A preview sale for Friends members only will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6 from 4 to 6 p.m., and the public will be invited to shop that day from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The public will also be able to pick up a few bargains on: Friday, Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Stock up on: children’s books for 50 cents and $1 each; pocket paperbacks for 50 cents each; trade paperbacks for $1 each; hardback books for $1 each; DVDs for $2 each; and CDs for $1 each. In addition, special art, coffee table and other oversized books will be available for $2.50 to $5 each. There will also be a limited number of individually-priced books. All proceeds benefit library programming.
