Gallery: Medford celebrates 24th annual Dickens Festival

A frigid December night didn’t stop the thousands of people who enjoyed the 24th annual Dickens Festival along Main Street in Medford on Dec. 7.

The event kicked off with Santa Claus riding down Main Street to the gazebo, where he participated in lighting the Christmas tree.

Main Street was lined with food and shop vendors featuring small businesses from Medford and the surrounding area. Keeping with the holiday spirit, carolers and performers played on many front porches along the street. The Medford United Methodist Church also put on a live nativity at Tomlinson Park across from the Pinelands Library.

Other performers ranging from jugglers to stilt walkers kept guests entertained along the street throughout the night.
