Autumn in Moorestown street festival is Oct. 12

The sound of music will be in the air while thousands of people peruse hand-crafted arts and crafts and antique cars at the 20th annual Autumn in Moorestown street festival on Saturday, Oct. 12.

MoorArts will present outstanding vocal, instrumental and dance acts performing a variety of musical styles from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the MoorArts booths, located in front of TD Bank. MoorArts, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the arts in the township’s schools and throughout the community, will also display a student art exhibit and offer family crafts.

Autumn in Moorestown is presented by the Moorestown Business Association; MoorArts is one of the event’s sponsors.

This is the second year that MoorArts has offered entertainment at the annual festival. The organization invites local talented artists to perform throughout the day. The planned lineup this year includes: MHS Honors Jazz Band; Andrew Moorer; Anne Kessler; Carol Jones; Hannah Snyder; Jen Rosario-Kent; Courtney Halpin; 44 Steady; Rob Kimmel & Jeff Selby; Lauren Parsons; Core Academy of Music — Xtension Dancers; Moorestown High School Madrigals; and Moorestown Theater Company.
