Camden County is hosting the 8th Annual Camden County Sports Hall of Fame Dinner and induction ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 24. At that time, 13 local sports legends will be honored for their contributions to athletics.
The current class of inductees has been to the pantheon of athletic greatness from Collingswood High School graduate Gary Williams’ historic 2002 national championship run with the University of Maryland to a key member of the 1981 Penn State National Championship team, and Sterling High School graduate, Ken Kelly.
This group of athletes and chroniclers of the games has broken records and represented the very best Camden County has to offer in their respective sports. This year’s inductees will be Todd Azar, Rosemary Deniken Blankley, Laraine Styles Flynn, Ralph Ipri, Kelley, Al Mattern, Larry Mauriello, Bill Narleski, Kelli James Precourt, Jim Ryan, Meghan Bolger Stasi, Kevin Walls and Williams.
The event will take place at The Crowne Plaza, 2349 West Marlton Pike in Cherry Hill at 5Â p.m.
