Mary Elizabeth Stone Morris passed away at her home, Saturday, Sept.14, 2013.
Funeral services were arranged by Arlington Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sagamore Baptist Church.
Mary was born on March 10, 1936 to Clarence and Maude Stone and grew up in Moorestown, New Jersey. Mary learned piano as a child, and learned organ during college. She moved to Texas to earn her BMEd at Baylor University, and she later moved to Fort Worth to study church music at Southwestern Seminary.
Mary taught piano to many students through 2012. And she played organ at several congregations through 1996. Mary met and married her husband Maurice in Fort Worth.
Mary loves her Lord and spent much of her free time meditating on Scripture. Mary is known by her sweet disposition and desire for peace. She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin brother, Bob and her beloved husband. Mary is survived by her son, Gary and wife, Jennifer of Crowley and their daughter, Ella; son, Peter of Arlington; sister-in-law, Helen Stone of Berthoud, Colo.; two nieces and two nephews.
