The U-14 Mt. Laurel United Flash won the 2013 US Club Northeast Regional Championship, Memorial Day weekend in LaGrandeville, NY. With this victory the Flash completed their quest to win back-to-back regional championships.
In the 2012 and 2013 regionals, the team went a combined 8–0–0 scoring a combined 20 goals for while only giving up 2 goals against. The girls were very excited about the victory and proud to represent MLU with their great effort, dominant play, and good sportsmanship. The U14 Flash team consists of girls from throughout South Jersey and Coaches Chris Vaughan, Denise Fornia and Rob Braverman. The team will now be invited to compete in US Club Soccer Nationals in Colorado this summer.
