Center for the Arts presents Children, Teen Exhibit in June

The Center for the Arts in Southern New Jersey presents the Children/Teen Exhibit on display June 3–24.

The exhibit reception will be held Sunday, June 9 from 1–3 p.m. free and open to the public.

The Center for the Arts in Southern New Jersey presents artwork created by the center’s own talented young students, ages 5 to 19.

The center’s students are taught the basics of drawing, which is the foundation for all fine art. As the students become acclimated to the pencil, they are introduced to the use of all fine art media including: colored pencils, pen and ink, pastel (chalk or oil), watercolor, acrylic and oil.

Students select their own projects from home or from references in the classroom.

The exhibit is free and open to the public Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesdays 7–9 p.m.
