Burlington County Office on Aging to hold public hearing

The Burlington County Office on Aging will hold a hearing on its services and programs Tuesday, May 21 at 10 a.m. in Lecture Hall A at the Human Services Building, 795 Woodlane Road.

The Office on Aging offers a wide variety of services to its older residents, who will have the opportunity to comment on the programs during a public hearing. The hearing is open to all county residents.

“This hearing is an opportunity for the senior citizens of Burlington County to discuss our services, provide input, and even propose new ideas,” said Burlington County Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly..

The county’s nutrition programs, including Meals on Wheels and the congregate meal sites, are among the most popular offered by the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders through the Office on Aging.

The office also provides senior citizens with information and counseling on such matters transportation, legal assistance, home health services, respite care and adult day care.
