The following incidents were taken from reports on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department.
A resident of the 100 block of Preakness Drive reported a theft. A bicycle, valued at $175, was taken from an unlocked garage. The incident occurred approximately two weeks ago at an undetermined date and time.
A resident of the unit block of Bloomfield Court reported a theft from a vehicle. The incident occurred between April 18 at 8 p.m. and April 19 at 9 a.m. $15 in cash was taken from the glove compartment of an unlocked vehicle.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 24-year-old man of the 500 block of Park Avenue, Brooklyn, on April 19 for the fraudulent use of $200 in American Express Travelers Checks. The incident occurred at the TJ Maxx on Centerton Road on January 17. He was charged with theft by deception and forgery. He was served with criminal complaints while incarcerated at the Bergan County Jail. Bail was set at $5,000.
A resident of the 100 block of Indigo Drive reported a burglary and theft to a residence. The incident occurred on April 19 between 7:20 and 11:30 p.m. The method of entry was not determined. Jewelry and cash, valued at over $7,000, was taken.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 42-year-old man of the unit block of Biddle Way, on April 21, for driving while intoxicated. He was stopped on Elbo Lane at 2:15 a.m. and charged with a DWI and released pending a municipal court hearing.
A guest at the Red Roof Inn on Fellowship Road reported a criminal mischief to a vehicle. The incident occurred on April 21 between 8 and 8:20 p.m. A vehicle hood and front quarter panels were deliberately scratched with a sharp implement. Damage is estimated at $500.
