Burlington County Freeholders to host Living with Alzheimer’s program

The Burlington County Freeholders will hold a Living with Alzheimer’s program on Wednesday, April 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The program will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Moorestown.

“It is important that our residents know and understand the support services that the county offers to those coping with this tragic disease,” said Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly.

Representatives from the Virtua ACE Unit, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department, and the Burlington County Senior Legal Program will present regarding resources available to those with Alzheimer’s disease and their families.

The event will include free health screenings, exhibits and photo identification cards. A continental breakfast and box lunch will also be provided.

For more information, or to register, please call the Burlington County Office on Aging at (609) 265–5069 by April 13.
