On Feb 1, the Cherry Hill Police Department arrested a 47-year-old man of the 300 block of Oak Avenue in Cherry Hill, for promoting prostitution.

His arrest capped a three-month investigation that was initiated after the Cherry Hill Police Department received numerous complaints from area residents who reported suspicious activity in and around his residence.

The investigation revealed that he was advertising the services of female prostitutes on various Internet sites and was coordinating, facilitating, and arranging sexual encounters for these women.

He also provided transportation and other resources for the women engaging in prostitution.

The prostitutes plied their trade at his residence as well as area motels.

A search warrant was executed at his residence subsequent to his arrest, and as a result numerous computers, cameras, cell phones and other evidence of the crimes were recovered.

He was remanded to the Camden County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
