On Sunday, March 10 from 5 to 8 p.m., attend the Men’s Club Wine Tasting. Calling all aspiring sommeliers. Want to taste red wine like a pro? When and how do you swirl? What flavors should you look for? To find the answers to these fruitful questions and more plan to partake of this fun, exciting event open to members and non-members. On Thursday, March 14 from 5 to 8 p.m., attend the Sisterhood HerSeder. Calling all mothers, daughters, granddaughters, sisters and friends. It’s time to revel in the bravery of the women who saved Moses and honor the wonderful women in our lives. Led by Rabbi Geri Newburge, Cantor Neil Schnitzer and pianist Murray Savar, this delicious full-course community Seder features fabulous foods (chicken or vegetarian entrée) inspirational Haggadah readings and lively music. Cost: $40 per adult; $20 for each child 16 and under. To participate in Program sponsorships: $50 Friend of HerSeder; $60 HerSeder Sponsor; $72 Miriam; $100 Yocheved. No walk-ins, please. On Sunday, March 17 at 6:30 p.m., attend the “Simply Diamond” Neil Diamond Tribute Concert. Songs sung blue and more by the man whom Paul Schaffer of the Letterman show calls “the best Neil Diamond tribute act out there… sounds like the real deal!” Singer and guitarist Brian La Blanc has opened for many national touring acts, including Grammy winners Survivor and The Blind Boys of Alabama. On Tuesday, March 26 at 6 p.m., attend the Second Night Passover Community Seder. Why is this night different from all other nights? On this night, you can participate in the community Seder experience! Enjoy singing your favorite Passover songs, spend time with a fun group of people, indulge in a Kosher-style meal as you recline in the true Passover spirit and imbibe a beautiful selection of Passover wines. Kids’ activities included. Invite your family and friends! Reservations by March 21 required; $45 per person adult; $24 each child 12 and under. On Saturday, March 30 from 1 to 2 p.m., attend the Just For You Passover Service in Support of Special Needs. Please join our warm and welcoming clergy and extended Temple Emanuel family of families for this inviting, musical and interactive Purim celebration designed to be accessible, sensitive to a variety of needs and interpreted into Sign Language. Enjoy healthy snacks and matzos; arts and crafts too as we embrace the festivities. Open to the entire community. All ages welcome from children to adults.
