LETTER: Committeewoman Ayes supports Vandegrift for fire commissioner

It is my honor to Vaughn C. Vandegrift for Voorhees Fire Commissioner and ask for you to do the same by voting for him on Saturday, Feb. 16.

Vandergrift has dedicated 37 years of his life to the Voorhees Fire District and is a retired Voorhees firefighter. Vandegrift has served as the past president of the Kirkwood Fire Company and is a life member there, as well as a member of the Camden County Fire Chief’s and Fire Officer’s Association.

Vandegrift has lived in Voorhees all his life and raised four children here. He has been so committed through the years to the community that he has also served on the Eastern High School Board of Education.

Vandegrift not only has the years of experience to keep us and our families safe, he has a proven track record of being fiscally responsible.

I have had the opportunity to get to know Vandegrift personally and his dedication to the residents of Voorhees does not falter. I cannot think of a more dedicated, experienced and responsible person to vote for as fire commissioner.

The general elections are over, but people looking out for the safety and fiscal well being of the Voorhees Community are still in need of your support on this special election day, Feb. 16 from 2 to 9 p.m.
