POLICE: Mt. Holly resident arrested for shoplifting at Wegman’s
The following incidents were taken from reports on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested 61-year-old man, of the 100 block of Ridson Street, Mount Holly, on Dec. 31 for shoplifting $74.21 in merchandise from Wegman’s on Centerton Road. He was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested 35-year-old man of the unit block of Write Avenue, Berlin, on Dec. 31. He was arrested during an investigation at a hotel on the 1100 block of Route 73. He was charged with possession of prescription medication not prescribed to him and possession of drug paraphernalia and released pending a municipal court hearing.
A member of the YMCA on Centerton Road reported a theft. A jacket and wallet, valued at $379.00, was taken from a locker. The incident occurred sometime between 1:10 and 2:17 p.m., Dec. 31. Force was used to access the locker.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 23-year-old man of Oregon Avenue, on Jan. 1. He was arrested after he was stopped on Route 73 at 2:28 a.m. for a motor vehicle violation. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested 31-year-old woman of Woodhollow Drive, Marlton, on Jan. 1. She was arrested after she was stopped on Route 73 at 5:03 a.m. for a motor vehicle violation. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
A resident on the 3800 block of Church Road reported that someone entered his residence on Dec. 30 between 10 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Entry was gained by opening an unlocked window. A laptop and several firearms were taken.
