The following updates were provided by Shamong Township.
Dog Licenses
All dogs over six months of age are required by the state to be properly licensed. All 2013 dog licenses are currently available at a cost of $5 if your dog has been spayed or neutered and $8 if not.
Please provide proof of spay or neuter and a valid rabies certificate when requesting a new dog license.
Rabies must be valid through to Nov. 1, 2013 in order to qualify for a 2013 license.
A free rabies clinic is scheduled for March 23, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Shamong Municipal Garage.
Dog licenses will be available at that time for your convenience.
Recycling
The Tuesday, Jan. 1 recycling collection has been rescheduled to today, Wednesday, Jan. 2 due to the New Years holiday.
