The Mt. Laurel Planning Board has held off on making its decision on the preliminarily approved proposed Wal-Mart property on Fellowship and Church Roads until its Jan. 10 meeting.
According to Township Manager Maureen Mitchell, the professionals did not have enough time to properly review all of the materials and respond prior to the Dec. 13 public hearing.
The public will be able to give comments at the January meeting as well, which will commence at 7 p.m., and more reports will be presented.
If the Planning Board approves the final site plan for Wal-Mart, the next step would be for Wal-Mart to wait for a memorializing resolution, followed by “for them to post escrow, file compliance plans and then pull construction permits,” said Mitchell.
