Evesham Township to host “Giving Tree” fundraiser

As Evesham Township prepares for the holiday season we take a moment to remind ourselves of those less fortunate.
As a way of giving back to our community we created the “Giving Tree.”

Each tree will be decorated with red bows, which will identify the gender and age of an Evesham resident encountering a hardship, while protecting their identity. The concept is as people pass through the municipal building they will take notice of these bows, select one from the tree, and read the description of a less fortunate Evesham individual who could use our help.

We are asking if you would like to help make a better holiday for these individuals by selecting a gift, not to exceed a value of $10 (you may certainly donate cash and a gift will be purchased in your honor).

Please deposit your unwrapped gift, along with the tag which was attached to your bow, indicating gender and age, to the drop off boxes at the Evesham Municipal Building, located at 984 Tuckerton Rd, or the Gibson House Community Center, located at 535 E. Main St. or More Than Gifts, 401 Taunton Lake Road.

Please deliver your gift no later than Dec. 18, so they may be delivered to the appropriate recipients during the holiday season.
If you select a monetary donation please forward to Evesham Township, c/o Monica Vandenberg : Giving Tree 984 Tuckerton Road, Marlton NJ 08053.
Please keep the bow as a reminder of the difference you made to a resident in need. As always, thank you for your kindness and generosity.
