Mt. Laurel Library along with the Mount Laurel Green Team will be hosting a fun-filled afternoon of free environmentally themed events, demos, music and fun for all ages on Sunday, Oct. 7 from noon to 4 p.m.
The celebration includes demonstrations, animals, musical instrument making and gardening advice from Mike McGrath.
Special guest Mike McGrath from WHYY’s You Bet Your Garden will give two talks to help with gardens:
1 p.m. Correct composting and mulch making
3 p.m. Fall planting tips and tricks (pansies and garlic and bulbs; oh my!)
The kids can listen to frogs, meet some feathery friends, attend a magic show and make a musical instrument out of discarded materials.
There truly is something for everyone. Please join us for this event.
No registration needed. Event will move inside if the weather is inclement.
The library is located at 100 Walt Whitman Ave. in Mt. Laurel.
