istoric Medford Village Association to host second Picnic on Main Street of the summer

Historic Medford Village Association is hosting another fun evening of Picnic On Main Street. The event will be held on Main Street in Medford Village on Thursday, Aug. 23 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Bring the family and some lawn chairs and enjoy dinner at one of Medford Village’s eateries, which include Braddock’s and Café Rouge. Then, enjoy dessert and a stroll through Medford Village. Families are welcomed to bring their own picnic and hang out for a nice summer evening in Medford Village. A dessert vendor will be in the gazebo area serving some after dinner treats.

Seating will be available at numerous village businesses as well as at the gazebo. Many businesses will be offering specials, sales and extra events along Main Street including Creative Genius Art Gallery and Studio, Granny Greer’s, Heather Fine Furnishings, Kirby Brothers, Medford Art Center, Medford Company Store, Medford Florist and Gift Shop, Pride Paws, Queen Bee Boutique, Stoveworks and Village Treasures.

There will be live music will be played at the gazebo.

The Picnic on Main concludes with Movie Night, being held in Tomlinson Park and begins at 8:30 p.m. The free-featured movie will be Charade, a classic starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn.
