The Eastern High School alumni association “Glory Days 5K Fun Run” benefitting Alex’s Lemonade stand foundation will be held Sept. 16 at 9 a.m.
The event will bring back Eastern alumni from all years as well as current students and the community. The idea behind the event is having alumni come out and relive their high school days while helping kids fight cancer so they can make it to their high school graduations and reunions.
September is national childhood cancer awareness month. Notable alumni, including Ali Gorman of Action News and Adam Taliaferro will be on hand to deliver opening remarks.
