A locally sponsored team, supported by STRA for the UGSA Rec 10U, participated in the All-Star Summer Classic Tournament, placing second. The team was put together, only practicing a total of three times. They competed against teams that had a set dynamic, some playing over 30 games together. The sponsored team played four games, enduring the recent heat wave.
