Quinones arrested for Cherry Hill Burger King assault
On Thursday June 28 at 9:42 p.m., a female was leaving Burger King at Route 70 and Astoria Boulevard, walking to her car.
She was approached by a male that she observed earlier walking around in socks, but no shoes and talking to himself.
He approached her and asked who she was. Unprovoked, he then punched her in the face. He continued to strike the victim in the face and repeatedly slammed her head into the concrete before running away.
Cherry Hill Police responded and Police Officer Knoedler, along with K9 Sem, tracked the male over a fence and into the area beneath the NJ Turnpike.
The suspect was located by Knoedler and the K9, trying to hide in the steel girders that support the overpass.
He was arrested without further incident and was in possession of marijuana.
Ismael G. Quinones, 35, of Pennsauken, was charged with Aggravated Assault, Second Degree and Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams.
He was remanded to Camden County Jail, with $50,000 full cash bail needed.
