Several handgun incidents in Moorestown, police department reports

The following incidents can be found on file with the Moorestown Township Police Department:

• A resident from the 100 block of Forest Road reported to police on June 2 at 12:09 a.m. for a burglary to their home. Jewelry and coins were taken from the bedroom.

• A complainant from the 700 block of Devon Road reported to police on June 2 at 4:23 a.m. that sometime overnight a rock was thrown through a car window.

• A resident from the unit block of Claypoole Avenue reported to police on June 2 at 5:23 a.m. that sometime overnight a rock was thrown through a rear car window.

• Moorestown Police responded to the 100 block of Cottage Avenue on June 5 at approximately 12:05 a.m. for a report that a 20-year-old male and 18-year-old female was sleeping in a tree house in the rear of the residence that had been robbed. The victims reported to police that they woke up to find three males, one with a handgun, in the building.

The male with the handgun demanded that they give them everything they had. The male victim gave the subject his Apple iPhone and approximately $180 in cash. The subjects then left the area on foot.

• A resident from the 500 block of E. Camden Avenue reported to police on June 5 at 11:03 p.m. that as he was walking through the parking lot toward his vehicle he observed a suspicious male standing in between two parked vehicles. The male approached the caller, pointed a black handgun at him and told him to mind his business.

The male was described as being in his late teens, early 20’s and was wearing a gray sweatshirt and a mast covering the lower half of his face. The male was last seen fleeing towards Kings Highway.
