The Seneca 8U District Baseball Team has compiled a record of 7–5 so far this summer, and just finished in second place to Marlton in the Cal Ripken District 5 8U baseball tournament. With the runner-up finish, they now move on to the South Jersey Cal Ripken State Championship Tournament in Mt. Laurel held from July 14 to July 21. The team is comprised of players from Shamong, Tabernacle and Southampton.
