The Medford Township Department of Recreation is pleased to announce “Creative Chefs” cooking workshops are now part of its program offerings.
During the Creative Chefs cooking workshops, children learn to measure, mix, pour and stir while following basic recipe instructions. The participants learn by doing and are encouraged to use their imagination and creativity, while learning basic cooking skills and safety in the kitchen. The objective of each class is to increase confidence and enhance skills, giving participants pride in their ability to create fun and tasty foods.
The next four-week session begins the week of March 5.
Each session offers new themed recipes for children to prepare and enjoy.
A variety of time slots are available for children ages 4 to 14 years old. Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
