Keep an eye out for a possible burglary suspect in Moorestown

The following items can be found on file with the Moorestown Township Police Department:

• A complainant reported to police on Jan. 29 at 11:12 a.m. for the theft of a purse while attending a part on the 100 block of E. Main Street on Jan. 28.

• A resident from the 500 block of Devon Road reported to police on Jan. 30 at 2:35 p.m. for a burglary sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. The residents were not at home. Entry was gained through a rear window after removing a screen. Jewelry, a Kindle, and a Notebook computer were stolen.

• A resident from the 300 block of Evergreen Drive reported to police on Feb. 2 at 7:47 a.m. for a burglary between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. The resident, who was not home when the burglary occurred, reported that jewelry and antique coins were stolen. There were no signs of forced entry to the home.

• Police want to make residents aware of additional Information in regard to the burglary that occurred on Jan. 30 in the 500 Block of Devon Road. Police are looking for a person of interest, who was observed by a passing motorist, knocking on the front door of the victim’s residence in the time frame of the burglary.

The person was described as a white female in her 20’s, golden-brown hair in a ponytail, wearing gray sweatpants.
