BCPO: Cab driver robbed, assaulted in Mt. Laurel

Detectives from the Mount Laurel Police Department and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the robbery and assault of a taxi driver that occurred this morning at approximately 3 a.m. on Forrest Court in Mount Laurel, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office announced today.

The 20-year-old taxi driver was cut across the neck and sought help at a residence before being airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he underwent surgery, prosecutors said. He is in critical condition.

The BCPO says two individuals are in custody, and two more are being sought. No charges have been filed, according to reports.
