Potential Van Gogh’s can apply in Burlington County

The Center for the Arts in Southern New Jersey is proud to present its annual Burlington County High School Student exhibition. This exhibit is always well received and well attended by up-and-coming artists, their families, friends and teachers. This exhibit provides a wonderful opportunity for student artists of Burlington County to hang their work in a professional gallery.

Each year the artwork astounds all those who stop by to view the exhibition. The creativity from all of the students has shown all visitors to the center that we have a multitude of very gifted and talented young artists here in Burlington County. In past exhibits the artwork has included; 3D collages, mosaics, handmade jewelry, ceramic pieces, as well as works done in charcoal, marker and colored pencil, acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, oils and pastels.

The historic house that the Center for the Arts in Southern New Jersey calls home is located on the grounds of the Indian Spring Golf Course in Evesham Township. Built in 1785, this house was once the home of Thomas and Mary Evens. Today the house is used as a fine arts gallery and school. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. For more information on class instruction please call 985–1009 or email us at [email protected].

The center is located at 123 S. Elmwood Road, Marlton.
