Mayor honors a Cherry Hill resident who gave the gift of life

At last night’s council meeting, Mayor Bernie Platt honored Kellman Brown Academy teacher Jen Rothstein for recently donating one of her kidneys to a Brooklyn teenager she had never met. Platt thanked Rothstein for sharing the gift of life.

At the meeting, members of Sustainable Cherry Hill presented Platt with a plaque they received for achieving Sustainable Jersey’s silver designation, making them just one of eight towns statewide to reach the highest level of the program. See last week’s story here.
