Get spooked for a good cause

Cherry Hill East sophomore Thomas Hudson and Saint Joe’s Prep junior Thomas Ciccotta of Cherry Hill started The Haunted Shed in 2008.

In its first year, the house raised $30, which was donated to the Animal Welfare Association. Last year, the spooky house brought in $200, which was donated to the Larc School in Bellmawr.

The students said they are hoping to raise double the amount they raised last year.

The Haunted Shed is located on the corner of Dunbarton and Lavenham Roads in the Wexford Leas Development. It is near Stockton Elementary School.

The Haunted Shed will be open to the public Saturday, Oct. 29 from 7 to 8 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday Oct. 31 from 5 to 9 p.m.
