On Saturday, Sept. 10, a crowd of 50 children and adults gathered at the Moorestown Library to meet Mystic, Nova, Hilda, and Toni, four puppies being raised by local families to become Seeing Eye Dogs. The volunteer puppy raisers, Kim Tzap and Linda Beck, co-leaders of Caring Canines of Burlington County, and Chuck Gross demonstrated the special skills the puppies are learning and explained how Seeing Eye Dogs assist people who are blind in their daily lives.
