Burlington County United Way needs donations

Burlington County Officials along with the Burlington County Chapter of the United Way will announce plans for residents and local businesses to donate food and food gift cards to local pantries.

“Local food pantries are in desperate need of donations right now,” Freeholder Mary Ann O’Brien said. “Many people do not think of hunger during the summer months, but the need for food is year round.”

Details about needed items and where to donate will be distributed at the event.

The event will take place Thursday, August 25 at 11 a.m. at the Burlington County Administration Building, 49 Rancocas Road, 1st floor Board Room, Mount Holly.
