Another day, another drug arrest in Evesham Township, this time involving a raid executed on a home on Sandwood Drive.
On Monday, the Evesham Police Department executed a search warrant on the home, finding various amounts of drugs. According to reports on file with the department, police seized heroin, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine, LSD, GHB and prescription pain medication. They also seized firearms and drug paraphernalia, including items used in the sale and manufacturing of drugs.
Seems we had our own little drug lab and distribution facility in our own backyard.
Three people were arrested in connection with the incident: Gheorghe G. Vesa, a 29-year-old Marlton resident; Haley J. Ackerman, a 23-year-old Marlton resident; and Christopher J. Koumoulis, a 32-year-old Moorestown resident.
Vesa and Ackerman were charged with distribution of controlled dangerous substances, possession of controlled dangerous substances and distribution within 500 feet of a public park. Ackerman was also charged with resisting arrest. They were both committed to the Burlington County Jail in default of $75,000 bail.
Koumoulis was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substances and resisting arrest. He was also committed to the Burlington County Jail in default of $10,000 bail.
