The Career Transition Partnership (CTP) is proud to announce its 100th successful job placement since the program debuted 11 months ago.
“We have considerable momentum behind the organization and the job seekers now,” David Papuga, chairman of the CTP board, said. “Our projections are that we will assist at least 50 more job seekers land gainful employment by the end of 2011.”
Papuga, a Mount Laurel resident and a permanent deacon at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Moorestown, summed up this noteworthy accomplishment: “This is an incredible and truly a wonderful milestone to achieve. It reinforces our efforts and tells us that what we are doing is what is needed, at least in part, to put people back to work. A huge debt of gratitude goes out to all of our volunteers for helping the CTP and the unemployed achieve the success we see today.”
Established in the fall of 2010, CTP is an interfaith community, business and industry partnership created to provide free services to the unemployed and under-employed in southern New Jersey and Philadelphia.
The Career Transition Partnership offers education, training, and support on many levels so a job seeker can choose what is appropriate to their situation.
“Our training prepares the unemployed with techniques for finding a job and to be better prepared to apply and interview for a new job,” explained Deacon Papuga.
CTP conducts bi-weekly workshops presented by skilled professionals who volunteer their time. Pre-registration is not necessary.
