In what has become a busy summer at Flaster/Greenberg, the turn of the calendar has signaled the arrival of a new member of the Bankruptcy, Financial Restructuring and Risk Management Department at the firm. Attorney Eric J. Van has joined the group recently.
Van focuses his practice on all aspects of the bankruptcy process, including advising and assisting debtors in the initiation of cases, creating and implementing plans and lockup agreements, seeking approval of asset sales, debtor financing and assumption of contracts, and representing creditors on claim, stay relief and case management matters.
Prior to Flaster/Greenberg, Van was affiliated with Gordon Silver, a distinguished law firm based in Las Vegas. There, he handled a wide variety of bankruptcy cases, with a focus on complex corporate reorganizations necessitated by that region’s depressed economic status. Before entering the private practice of law, Van was a law clerk with United National Insurance Company, and worked as an analyst at The Vanguard Group, Inc.
