State Sen. Jim Beach will be the event’s keynote speaker. The mayor encourages everyone in the community to join him and Council on this national holiday to pay special tribute to all those who have died in defense of the United States.
“On Monday, we will honor all men and women who have paid the ultimate price in service to our great nation,” Platt said. “Every day, our heroes remain in our hearts, and I know this will be a fitting tribute to them.”
The event will take place at the Cherry Hill Township Municipal Building, 820 Mercer St. at 11 a.m.
Before the event at the Municipal Complex, join American Legion Post 372 for services in front of the flagpole at 1532 Martin Ave. The group will then proceed to Locustwood Cemetery for a service at 10 a.m., followed by the township’s ceremony at 11 a.m.
