Shoplifters keep getting caught in Cherry Hill

The following items were taken from reports on file with the Cherry Hill Police Department:

On May 14 at 1:45 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop for violations. During the course of the stop, it was determined that the driver and passenger were in possession of narcotics. Both the driver, a female from Mt. Laurel, and passenger, a male from Mt. Laurel, were charged accordingly with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On May 14 at 4:56 a.m., police responded to the Cooper Landing Apartments for the report of two males attempting to open motor vehicle doors. Officers checked the area and located the two males, one adult and one juvenile. They were in possession of currency taken from several vehicles on the lot of the apartments and were charged accordingly with Burglary to Motor Vehicle. The adult charged was a male from the Unit Block of Meadowyck Drive, Mt. Laurel.

On May 13 at 5:09 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop for violations. During the course of the stop, it was determined that the passenger had a local warrant and was found to be in possession of narcotics. The male, from the 100 block of Kelley Drive, Mt. Laurel was charged accordingly with Possession of Prescription Legend Drug and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On May 13, 2011 at 1:34 p.m., police responded to Nordstrom’s, 2000 Rt. 38, for the report of a group that had just shoplifted items and fled the store. One actor, a female from the 2500 Block of S. Massey St., Philadelphia, was located in the exterior of the mall and had attempted to steal over $2,300 dollars in merchandise. Officers also located a vehicle that had fled the area and two other actors, a male from the 2500 Block of S. Massey St., Philadelphia, and a female from the 1800 Block of S. Napa St., Philadelphia, were charged accordingly with Shoplifting.
