Councilwoman Fay filed incident report with police department

By ROBERT LINNEHAN

Former Medford Councilwoman Victoria Fay has filed an incident report against Medford Councilman Robert Martin, confirmed Lt. Walt Miller of the Evesham Township Police Department.

Miller couldn’t release any details about the incident report, but did confirm that Fay did file a report against Martin for an incident that she felt was harassment, he said. She has not filed any criminal complaints as of yet, he said.

Fay currently lives in the Kings Grant section of Evesham Township. Fay had filed a nine-count complaint with the Superior Court of Burlington County seeking declaratory judgment against Medford Township Council after members had declared her seat vacant pursuant to municipal vacancy law.

An investigative hearing had revealed Fay had been living in Marlton and had plans to return to her home in Medford once a divorce from her husband was settled. It did little to change the other Council members’ mind, as her seat was voted vacant in late March.

Her Medford residency was first brought into question in early February.
