Build Jake’s Place, a non-profit organization, has named Peggy Grossmick, operating partner of The Silver Diner, to its Board of Directors.
As a board member, Grossmick will work to support the organization’s mission of constructing and operating boundless playgrounds allowing children of all abilities the joy of playing and learning together.
A long-time supporter of Build Jake’s Place, Grossmick has held “Run the Diner Night” fundraising events as well as a car show at The Silver Diner where she and her staff have provided countless volunteer hours and meals.
“Peggy’s unwavering commitment to our organization, along with her business acumen, will be incredible assets to our organization. Her insights and experience are needed as we work to raise the final funding for a “Boundless” playground at Challenge Grove Park in Cherry Hill, where children with disabilities will play alongside other kids,” Joe Nasto, Board President of Build Jake’s Place and co-founder said.
A West Deptford resident, Grossmick is also a board member of the Volunteer Center of Camden County.
