Many residents of Voorhees worked tirelessly to pass the school budget. I applaud their efforts. The budget issue, however, will reappear; every year there’s a budget vote, and with this weak economy and continued attacks on public education, state support may evaporate quickly. Thus, the schools must continue to show — through their efforts and services — that Voorhees residents were correct in voting “yes.”
