Bryana Bonfanti of Voorhees was awarded a scholarship from the Central New Jersey Alumnae Panhellenic Association. Bonfanti, a junior at The College of New Jersey double majoring in special education and psychology, was selected from 15 talented applicants.
Bonfanti is a full-time student working towards both a BA in Psychology and Elementary Education. Concurrently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in special education. Even with this hectic schedule, Bonfanti has achieved impressive academic success, maintaining a 3.58 GPA.
Bonfanti has also taken a leadership role in numerous student government, panhellenic and academic activities.
“We are so proud to give this scholarship to Bryana,” said Bikki Bevelhymer-Chiang, chairman of the selection committee. “With sheer determination and strength of character, she has persevered through very tough obstacles; yet she remains steadfast in her commitment to her education. Bryana is the complete embodiment of why this scholarship program was started.”
