Philip B. Lippincott, age 84, died Saturday, April 23 at Buttonwood Hospital in Pemberton Township.
Born on August 2, 1926, he was the son of the late Russell and Anna Lippincott.
Philip had been employed as an electrician for 47 years with Wills & Stiles in Medford before his retirement. After retirement he continued work as an electrician for Medford Leas.
He had served as V.P. for the board of directors for John F. Kennedy Hospital in Stratford and for 20 years served as stage manager for the Haddonfield Symphony.
He will be remembered by his family as a generous man who would help any of his neighbors, friends and family with anything they needed done without expecting anything in return.
Preceded in death earlier this year by his wife Estelle L. Lippincott, who was herself active with John F. Kennedy Hospital in Stratford and was a board member of the V.N.A. of South Jersey as well as past president of the Woman’s Auxiliary for both Kennedy Hospital and the Haddonfield Symphony.
Philip is survived by his two daughters; Debbie (Robert) White of Tabernacle, and Phyllis Dalton of Drexel Hill, Pa., as well as his five grandchildren: Jonathan, Rebecca, Kevin, Sean and Brandan.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29, at 1 p.m. at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, South Whitehorse Pike, Berlin. Visitation will be Friday beginning at noon at the funeral home.
