The Evesham Police Department is investigating a series of thefts from the Walmart, Route 70 East, Marlton, NJ.
These thefts have occurred on Jan. 19 between midnight and 1 a.m., Jan. 31 between midnight and 1 a.m., Feb. 27 at 12:50 a.m. and March 10 at 12:45 a.m.
During all these incidents car batteries were stolen from a secured area at the rear of the business. According to reports well over 100 car batteries were stolen from Walmart.
It is believed that these thefts are connected to a series of similar type thefts that have been occurring throughout the region.
The suspect is believed to be a white, male, wearing a hooded sweatshirt/jacket with a logo on the back.
There is a second suspect who is the vehicle’s driver.
The suspect vehicle is a newer model Jeep Cherokee or Grand Cherokee with chrome rims.
