Break The Silence — Talk About It, a conversation to support the safety and emotional well being of youth in the community, will be held Tuesday, March 15, at 7 p.m., at the Cherry Hill Community Center, 820 Mercer Street.
Discussion will include signs that a teenager or young adult may be in trouble, risk factors, and communicating with teens and young adults on difficult issues.
Participants will be taught QPR, question, persuade and refer techniques that can be used to identify and support those who may be at risk.
The conversation will be lead by Randy Brooks Miller, RNC, from Kennedy Behavioral Health and Contact Community Helplines.
