The Evesham Republican Club will host its kick off event and Comedy Night fund raiser on March 26.
Tickets are $35 and the club retains $10 from each purchase. However, the club is committed to selling 70 tickets. Ed Hoffman, president of the club, urged members to bring anyone they know to the club’s event.
Hoffman also reminded members that dues are going to be collected as well. All dues paying members will receive a welcome packet including important Club-related paperwork.
The executive board has established the following goals for the club this year, such as increasing membership by 200 percent, increasing awareness of the club through its revamped Web site and newsletter, and increasing fund raising and other non dues generating income.
The club also hopes to restructure the operation of the group to improve efficiency and communication and sponsor informational, timely, and appropriately fun programs and events, Hoffman said.
On behalf of the entire executive board, Hoffman promised that the club will do its very best to ensure that the club stays focused this year on meeting these goals.
For success though, Hoffman asked that all members please show up at the regular meetings and events, pay their dues, be an active participate in one of the new committees, and to bring two members into the club this year.
